AEHRC’s lung imaging research goes global
The site, which sits in the beautiful region of Bavaria, is a hub for innovative magnetic resonance (MR) technology.
After a tour of the facility, Bowen presented his research on motion-correction using generative diffusion models for lung MRI. The project, conducted in collaboration with the Queensland Children’s Hospital, involves developing artificial intelligence methods to facilitate and improve the analysis of medical images.
Scientists and engineers from multiple companies and countries found common interests in structural/functional lung MRI, synthetic CT applications for radiotherapy and medical image analysis software.
The Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC) is CSIRO's digital health research program and a joint venture between CSIRO and the Queensland Government. The AEHRC works with state and federal health agencies, clinical research groups and health businesses around Australia.
