One click, big impact – vote for Sparked!
We’re stoked to share that Sparked – Australia’s FHIR Accelerator – has been named a finalist in the IPAA Canberra Spirit of Service Awards!
Sparked is a collaboration between the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, the Australian Digital Health Agency, HL7 Australia, and our team. Together, we’re building the foundations of a more connected healthcare system.
Why this matters
In just two years, Sparked has already made a real impact. By bringing the healthcare community together to co-design and agree on standards, we’re ensuring your health information can follow you wherever you go in the health system – from emergency care to allied health.
This means clinicians can access the right data at the right time, helping to:
- Reduce unnecessary tests and imaging
- Support timely, accurate diagnoses
- Improve treatment decisions and outcomes
It’s a big step toward seamless, person-centred healthcare for all Australians.
